Carmelo Anthony is set to release a memoir this fall that chronicles his inspiring rise from housing projects in New York and Baltimore to international superstardom in the NBA and on the Olympic stage.

Titled “Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised,” the memoir was written as a collaboration between the current Portland Trail Blazers star and  D. Watkins. Publisher Gallery Books referred to the book as “raw and inspirational” in a press release.

Anthony teased the memoir in a tweet shared Wednesday that included a video narrated by the NBA veteran.
